At long last, the days are getting longer. Many people I know, myself included, suffer from the “winter blues.” It really hits me hard because I LOVE the winter temperatures in Florida, but I find myself struggling to get out and enjoy them because the days are so short! (I can only IMAGINE how people in more northern states must feel).
But the past few days have brought the sun. And with it, for me, a renewed commitment to my personal fitness that I am translating as follows:
- PUSH PLAY every day, ideally in the mornings
- PUSH PLAY on the fitness DVDs I love. Right now – those are Turbo Jam® Maximum Results and Hip Hop Abs® These are truly FUN for me and I feel the results happening.
- PUSH PLAY no matter what! I’ve learned that I can’t beat myself up for not following “the perfect” fitness regime every day. I love and respect the benefits of committing to BeachBody’s 90 day and Six Week plans – and I’m going to take one on, soon. But for NOW, I am simply pushing play on whatever floats my boat.
- Every time I “PUSH PLAY” I am thinking NOT ONLY about how I am bettering myself, but how GREAT I am going to look and feel when Central Florida’s Junior Miss rolls around and I am able to be as FIT and energized as the Class of 2010! (you girls better GET READY!)
